Cruelty Free Make Up

As most I am a MASSIVE animal lover and I hate that they’re tested on for cosmetics, skin care etc. I’ve tried not too think about it too much or look too much into it as I have always presumed most brands do test on animals although by law they do not have to, to meet safety standards. After doing some research i have seen how many brands actually don’t test on animals and i have decided to have a sought out of my make up and from now on only use brands that are cruelty free i mean i can live without that Mac foundation to help the life of an animal. It’s 2016 and so many brands have proven that there is ways of bringing out makeup etc. without having to test on animals.

Animal testing on cosmetics has actually been banned in the EU since 2013 but some ingredients can still be tested on animals which is how some companies still do, another reason for brands testing on animals is that if they are selling their products to China they  are required by law to test on animals which totally sucks!

The brands that I found that are cruelty free are both higher end make up and drugstore prices which is a total bonus, all brands do have to state if they test on animals so from now on I will 1000000% being looking into it before buying any products.

Although not all these brands are available in the UK (As always!) I have listed them anyways as I know not all of yous live in the UK. I haven’t listed every single brand as there’s so many but I have listed the main ones that I’m sure the majority of you will know. 1. Using cruelty free products only / switching to cruelty free does require a lot of time and patience. I am in the process for a few years now and still haven’t found all my required holy grail products but then again it is even more fun trying things when you know you support companies that won’t test on animals.
